1)Types of personal information we collect and hold: 

i)Name;

ii)Contact details (e.g. email address, telephone number(s), residential and delivery addresses);

iii)Information to identify you (e.g. date of birth);

iv)Payment and transaction details/history (including information about payment cards linked associated transactions);

v)Any rewards and redemption details applicable to your membership of our loyalty programs; and

vi)Whether you have a connection with others whose personal information we may collect or hold, for example, family members who may be linked to your loyalty program membership;

vii)Records of your communications and interactions with us; and

viii)Details/history of purchases, preferences, interests, and behavior relating to transactions, products, services, and activity with our digital services.

2) How personal information is collected and held;

We collect your Personal Information in relation to your interactions and transactions with us which will include when you:

You register with us, for example, to create an account, to use our website or OM Grocery App, become a member of one of our loyalty programs, or to send you information;

Make a purchase in-store or place an order online;

Conduct a transaction including making a non-cash payment, or registering for a service where we collect Personal Information;

• You communicate with us online;

• You take part in our promotions, competitions, testimonials, surveys and 

• You deal with us in other ways involving a need for personal information to be provided such as when you make a lay-by, contact us personally or bring a claim against us.

Post a review or comment on one of our social media pages, or post a rating or review or other user-generated content on our apps; or

Otherwise use our related apps, social media, and other digital services.

Most of the personal information we collect and hold about you is from your direct dealings with us. We may sometimes collect your personal information other than from you directly. For example from other suppliers who, in common with us, have a relationship with you. 

Holding of personal information: We hold the personal information both electronically and in hard copy. This information is held on our own premises and may be operated by us or by our service providers. In all cases, we review our security systems regularly aiming at eliminating risks of unauthorized access to, and loss, misuse, or wrongful alteration of, personal information.

3) The purposes for which we collect, hold, use and disclose it;

We will use the information you provide primarily to sell and promote our goods and services to you and to improve on the range of our offerings. Also in order to enable us to process your orders and to provide you with the services and information offered through our mobile application. Furthermore, we will use the information you provide to register your account with us; verify and carry out financial transactions in relation to payments you make; audit the data from our mobile application, identify visitors on our application, carry out research on our users' demographics, send you information we think you may find useful or which you have requested from us, including information about our products and services, provided you have indicated that you have not objected to being contacted for these purposes. Subject to obtaining your consent we may contact you by email with details of other products and services. If you prefer not to receive any marketing communications from us, you can opt-out at any time. 

4) Your right to access, seek correction of it, and provide feedback;

If you are concerned about your data you have the right to request access to the personal data which we may hold or process about you (except in limited circumstances recognized by law). Before we provide you with access to your personal information we may require some proof of identity. We may charge a reasonable fee for giving access to your personal information if your request requires substantial effort on our part. At any stage, you also have the right to ask us to stop using your personal data for direct marketing purposes.

5) How you may complain about privacy matters;

If you have any complaints or concerns about our Privacy Policy or our handling of your Personal Information, you can contact us directly. We may ask you to put your complaint in writing and to provide details about it. We may discuss your complaint with our personnel and our service providers and others as appropriate. We will investigate the matter and attempt to resolve it in a timely way. We will inform you in writing about the outcome of the investigation. If you are still not satisfied and no other complaint resolution procedures are agreed or required by law, we will inform you that your complaint may be referred to the Privacy Commissioner for further investigation and will provide you with the Commissioner’s contact details.

6) Cookies;

A cookie is a piece of information captured when your device is used to access online content that allows the server to identify and interact more effectively with your device. The cookies help us in maintaining the continuity of your browsing session ( e.g. to maintain a shopping cart) and remembering your details as well as preferences when you return as a result of improving your browsing experience. We allow persistent (permanent) cookies to be used to better inform how the content your device visits may be presented to you. Persistent cookies can store your preferences for a particular site, so they will be remembered when the site is visited again. In addition to this, we allow persistent and other kinds of permanent cookies (such as “flash” cookies) to be set and we and others access information from 3rd party cookies in order to assist in compiling and analyzing the types of online content you visit and your interaction with that content.
